Returns Policy

Set out below is the returns policy for goods acquired from Learning With Technologies Pty Ltd (ACN 099 102 002) (LWT). The provisions of this Returns Policy are subject always to any applicable law, including the provisions of Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and any equivalent State or Territory legislation (Australian Consumer Law), and any third party warranties which may have been provided with the goods.
Change of Mind Policy
If you wish to return any goods which you acquired from LWT because you have changed your mind, LWT may offer you a refund or credit if:
• the relevant goods are returned to LWT within seven (7) days of purchase;
• the relevant goods are returned to LWT in pristine, unopened condition with all seals intact. Opened, damaged or soiled goods may not be accepted by LWT or may be accepted subject to a higher restocking fee; and
• the RA number is clearly written on a sticky label on the outside of a shipping carton. Do not write or attach anything directly on the product or its boxing – damaging the carton may make it unreturnable. If the RA number cannot be identified the goods will be returned immediately at your expense.
You will be responsible for any restocking fee charged to LWT by its suppliers as a result of you returning any goods for a change of mind. Please note that restocking fees can range up to 20% of the total cost of the good.
You will also be responsible for returning the goods to LWT (including any freight charges). Goods should be returned to LWT's warehouse in accordance with the details set out at the end of this policy. As LWT does not provide the postal or freight services, it is not responsible for any loss or damage which may occur to any goods during delivery or transit.
Please note that any refunds will not be paid or credits acknowledged until such time as goods returned have been receipted in LWT's warehouse and inspected. This process can take up to two (2) weeks.
Replacement of items where LWT has provided incorrect goods
LWT takes full responsibility for the replacing of goods where it has provided incorrect goods where we are advised within a reasonable period of time of the goods being received. When returning goods please contact the Returns Department at returns@lwt.com.au to obtain a Return Authorisation number (RA). Where possible products returned for replacement must be in pristine, unopened condition with all seals intact. Opened, damaged or soiled product may not be accepted.
All freight will be the responsibility of LWT. Goods will be picked up and returned to our warehouse (see details below) with the RA number clearly written on a sticky label on the outside of a shipping carton - do not write directly onto the product or its boxing – damaging the product may make it unreturnable. If the RA number cannot be identified the product will be returned immediately at your expense.
Consumer Guarantees and Third Party Warranties related to faulty, defective or damaged goods
If you believe an item is faulty, defective or damaged, you may have rights under the Australian Consumer Law. These rights are not affected by LWT's above change of mind policy. In addition, your goods may come with third party warranties. Any third party warranties are generally provided by the manufacturer or supplier of the goods and LWT may, if it is able to, assist you in making a claim under the warranty.
To assist LWT promptly process any claims you may have, you should notify LWT as soon as you become aware of any fault, defect or damage to any good supplied to you by LWT which may give rise to rights under the Australian Consumer Law or a third party warranty.
Where you believe an item is faulty, defective or damaged it may be necessary for us to send your goods to the manufacturer or their service agent for the goods to be assessed within a reasonable period of time.
Where an item is damaged through misuse or abnormal use, LWT might not provide a refund, exchange or repair.
LWT will require satisfactory proof of purchase before providing a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or assisting with any claim under a third party warranty.
